Literacy and Numeracy Week this year at Dallas Brooks Community Primary incorporated an Environmental theme. Students collected rubbish and recorded the amount brought to school, as well as observing the type of rubbish brought in. Children participated in a range of activities including working with an older partner, collecting and sorting rubbish and raising the student awareness of disposing rubbish in a way to help the environment.
