State School Spectacular Performance
‘Shine On’
Sixteen students from Dallas Primary School & Kindergarten gave up the first weekend of their school holidays to join 2,500 other students performing at Hisense Arena. The students were part of the State School Spectacular massed dance performance.
The State School Spectacular is held every second year and is a joint performance by both primary and secondary school students. Students from Dallas Primary School & Kindergarten participated in four items during each performance. The items were:
- Can You Feel It?
- Respect
- Man in the Mirror
- Let’s Get Loud
Students participated in two performances on Saturday 18th September and one performance on Sunday 19th September. Saturday in particular was a very long and tiring day for the students. They left the school at 11:00am and returned at 11:30pm and then had to be back at the school at 11:00am on Sunday morning; ready for their third performance. I’m sure that there were many very tired students on Sunday night.
